Part of the events in Gloria are held according to the calendar year (e.g. Multicultural Independence Day celebration, Chinese New Year, Nowruz).
Other events are organized spontaneously by the initiative of the visitors, such as Lunch@Gloria, jamming for young people, exhibitions of Gallery Gloria etc.
In addition to this, the Multicultural Center is involved in many co-operational events, such as the annual Tourujoki Night and the Volunteer Fair.
Gloria is also involved in established events in the city, like the Jyväskylä birthday celebration.

Multicultural Independence Day celebration
The multicultural Independence Day has been organized continuously since 2008 and it is the largest of the events organized by Gloria. Program consist of acts chosen from Talent Open Stage nights and other performances. The volunteer of the year is also announced and awarded in the celebration.
In the past the Multicultural Independence Day celebration has been held in Aalto-sali, Lutakko dance hall, the city theatre and University of Jyväskylä main auditorium.
